Representatives of the National Development bank (NRB), the Czech Export Bank (CEB) and the Export Guarantee and Insurance Corporation (EGAP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with their South Korean counterparts from Korea Export-Import Bank (KEXIM) and Korea Trade Insurance Corporation (K-SURE) on Friday, 20 September 2024. The Memorandum aims to support the economic development of the Czech and Korean economies, explore financial possibilities and opportunities for joint support of mutually beneficial, strategic projects.
In the presence of Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala and South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, the document was signed by Michal Nebeský, Member of the Board of Directors of the NRB, Daniel Krumpolc, CEO of CEB and David Havlíček, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EGAP, while on the Korean side the Memorandum was signed by Hee-sung Yoon, Chairman & CEO of KEXIM and Youngjin Jang, Chairman & President K-SURE.
